About the IMF

The Interactive Media Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Berlin and Ludwigsburg.
The IMF’s mission statement guides our daily work and shapes our identity.
We are passionate about media and take action as filmmakers, cross-media storytellers and tech geeks.
Good vibes drive us.
Our vision is a world shaped by participation, democracy, freedom and equal opportunity. We believe that appreciation, openness, collaboration and diversity are the foundations of social cohesion.
This commitment is the foundation of our work.
We create access to the complex challenges of our time and inspire our audiences to take action. Through films, digital formats, workshops and exhibitions, we build cultural bridges, open up surprising perspectives and empower people to actively shape the future. We want to turn them into makers.
We rely on innovative technologies, compelling formats and powerful stories that bring light into the world.
We cultivate a vibrant and respectful working environment and invite creatives from all disciplines and sharp minds from various sectors to join us.
We value participatory collaboration and take joy in experimentation. In other words: we tinker, explore and create across disciplines.
We approach the world with an open eye for social and ecological change – both large and small. We are committed to preserving a world rich in biodiversity. Together with our audience, we aim to influence systems in ways that serve humanity, biodiversity and sustainability, now and for future generations.
Doing this takes courage and determination. We embrace that. We aim for Stunned. Driven. Sparked!
